EPL Futures Betting Odds
Liverpool is the consensus favorite to win the Premier League in consecutive years. The Reds are priced at (+205) to hoist the prestigious trophy. Arsenal follow closely behind at (+250) after initially opening as the top favorite. Man City, who won the title in six of the past eight seasons, is (+275). All other clubs are lined at (+1800) or better.

Liverpool Set to Defend EPL Title
Despite a dominant season that saw Liverpool easily claim the Premier League title, oddsmakers were not so keen on their chances to win it again in 2025-26. Arsenal opened as the favorites to win the title despite finishing as runners-up for the third year running. Part of that optimism for the Gunners was based on the transfer market. The club was very open about their intentions of spending heavily in the summer, especially looking to improve in the final third.
But Arsenal have yet to make a big splash in the transfer market, only acquiring three players so far. In fact, none of those three play on the offensive side of the ball (one goalkeeper and two defensive midfielders). Bizarre rumors regarding blackmail have plagued their attempts to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting, arguably the biggest name in the available talent pool this summer.
I think even a supreme optimist who has a strong bias towards Arsenal should have a hard time backing them as favorites to win the title this year, at least at the moment. To make my predictions, I use an expected points algorithm to predict results based on expected goals. My projections show Liverpool accruing 87 points to Arsenal’s 82. Man City is far off the pack, sitting with Chelsea and Newcastle between 72 to 74 points.
Therefore, I see this season as a two-horse race between Liverpool and Arsenal. And at (+205), I think there is a lot of value on the Reds winning it again. Don’t be fooled by the media. Back Liverpool to win back-to-back titles as the first pick of our EPL futures betting guide.
Can Bournemouth Repeat Top Half Finish?
The Cherries surprised many with a top-half finish in 2024-25, just nine points away from the European places. After securing promotion to the top flight back in 2022, they have successfully improved on the previous seasons’ performance on three straight occasions. 2025-26 is looking a bit trickier however. The departure of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid was considered writing on the wall. But defenseman Milos Kerkez left as well, having been lured by Liverpool.
To replace their defensive losses, Bournemouth acquired Adrien Truffert. That still leaves a hole in the center-back position, but there is plenty of time to mend that gap. And with almost $100 million in profit from the sales of Huijsen and Kerkez, the Cherries will certainly have the resources. In terms of attack, Bournemouth managed to lock in star forward Antoine Semenyo to a five-year deal, quelling rumors of his potential departure.
I think Bournemouth have a strong chance to finish in the top 10 yet again. My expected points totals have them in 7th with 68 points. With my 10th-placed side projected at 61 points, that gives them plenty of breathing room. And when looking at the betting odds, Bournemouth are priced at (+135). This is a great number for a consistently underrated side. Back Bournemouth to replicate last season’s success.
Will Any Promoted Teams Survive Relegation?
No promoted team has survived relegation in the last two seasons in the Premier League. That paints an ugly picture for Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland, this year’s newcomers to the EPL party. Leeds and Burnley earned automatic qualification after finishing in the top 2 of the EFL Championship. Sunderland had to do it the hard way, winning the promotion playoffs after finishing 4th in the league.
Leeds and Burnley each finished with 100 points while Sunderland finished with 76. But my expected points calculations had Leeds finishing with 117, Burnley still at 100, and Sunderland at 80. Now heavily financially backed by Red Bull, I believe Leeds have the best chance at staying in the Premier League. Some sportsbooks are offering odds on “Top Promoted Team” or “Top Newcomer,” giving us an opportunity to back this outcome.
Keep in mind, betting on a team here means all they have to do is finish above their two recently promoted counterparts, and not necessarily avoid relegation. With that in mind, I think there is a lot of value on Leeds at (-125) to be the best of the three. Burnley may have a difficult time replicating their defensive dominance in the much faster-paced Premier League. Go with Leeds United as the top newcomer at (-125), available at BetUS.
