The In-Season Challenge is back on the NASCAR schedule this weekend, with the Toyota Save Mart 350 taking place at Sonoma Raceway.
As the sole road race in the six-race series, Shane van Gisbergen is expected to be a strong contender again.
This race has been a staple of the NASCAR calendar since 1989. It covers 218.9 miles over 110 laps, including a final stage of 50 laps.
Kyle Larson has been a standout performer in this event lately, winning two of the last four races, including last year’s Toyota Save Mart 350.
However, he’ll be looking to regain his momentum after finishing outside of the top ten in his last two races and three of the last four.

Toyota Save Mart 350 Odds
Shane van Gisbergen
Shane van Gisbergen is the clear favorite heading into the 2025 Toyota/Save Mart 350 with +150 odds. The Kiwi thrives on road courses like Sonoma, where precision and car control matter more than raw speed.
With his third career win today at @NASCARChicago, @shanevg97 is now the winningest driver born outside the U.S. in Cup Series history.

In fact, he won the 2024 Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 250 here while competing in the Xfinity Series, so he knows the track well.
Fast forward to his rookie Cup Series season, and he’s already collected two wins.
This includes last Sunday’s Chicago Street Race at Grant Park 165. Although, he is the favorite, I am not a fan at this price and would pass on him.
Kyle Larson
Kyle Larson is always a formidable competitor at Sonoma. He boasts two career victories there, one of which was last year. As one of the most well-rounded drivers in NASCAR, his three wins this season demonstrate his skill.
However, there’s a catch: his last victory came in early May at Kansas, and his highest finish since then has been fifth place in Michigan. Nevertheless, Sonoma could be the ideal venue for a rebound.

His experience, speed, and determination make him well-equipped to succeed.
If it were not for SVG being in the picture, Larson would likely be the top favorite this weekend. As it stands, he ranks second among the 2025 Sonoma favorites, with odds of +500.
Chase Elliott
The seven-time winner on road courses has yet to secure a victory at Sonoma. He has achieved four top-five finishes in six races at the track, along with five top-10 results.
Chase Elliott has consistently shown strong performance at Sonoma, finishing between 2nd and 8th in six of the last seven races, with an engine failure being the only exception.

Last year, Elliott finished in 4th place, recorded the 2nd-best average running position at 8.3, and achieved the 3rd highest Driver Rating.
On the speed stats front, he ranked 2nd in Total Speed Rankings and 5th for Speed Late In A Run. Elliott is a tremendous driver and at +1400 is a tremendous value bet.
This is another bet I would recommend.
Alex Bowman
Bowman is often overlooked as a road course driver. He claimed victory in the Chicago race in 2024, although it was ultimately canceled because of weather conditions.
In 2025, he secured a top-10 finish in all three road course events. These odds at +3500 are a long shot but he Bowman is the ideal wild card at this course.
I would absolutely wager a small amount on Bowman to win this race at this price.
